Born Gary Levone Anderson in Jacksonville, Gary U.S. Bonds is an 85-year-old rock and legend, who still gives it his all.
In 1960 and '62, Bonds had five songs reach the Top 10 - New Orleans (No. 9), Quarter to Three (1), School is Out (5), Dear Lady Twist (9) and Twist Twist Senora (9). After a long way away from the charts, Bonds had his career resurrected in the early 80's when he joined forces with Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Van Zandt.
Since then, Bonds has simply dazzled crowds from all over the world with this vibrant performances.
Bonds' Quarter to Three is ranked as one of the top 500 songs in rock and roll history, yet is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Local legend Billy Walton will open up the show. Walton, a rock and roller himself, is a touring musician who always stays true to his roots with a heavy schedule in South Jersey.
